Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and participation in tours operated by Trainspotting Tours, a sole trader registered in Malta. By booking a tour, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Booking & Payment

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 70% balance is due no later than 30 days before the tour departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour: full refund minus a €50 admin fee. Cancellations made 15–30 days before the tour: 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour: no refund. Trainspotting Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of participants (2 families) is not met, in which case a full refund will be provided.

4. Age Requirements

All children must be aged 10 or over. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the tour.

5. Health & Safety

Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the tour leader and comply with railway station rules and regulations. Trainspotting Tours is not liable for any injury or loss resulting from a participant's failure to follow safety instructions.

6. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during the tour for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing prior to the tour.

7. Liability

Trainspotting Tours acts as a guide service only. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions to rail services, nor for any personal loss or injury during the tour. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.
